How to Write Explicit AI Lyrics That Actually Hit
Toxic Sound Team August 6, 2026
Start with a scene, not a genre
Most people type "angry rap song" and wonder why the result feels generic. Give the AI a scene: who is speaking, what just happened, and what they want. The lyrics get specific, and specific is what makes explicit writing land instead of feeling edgy for its own sake.
Say the thing
Toxic Sound has no lyrical filter. Profanity, adult themes and raw subject matter are all supported, so you never need euphemisms in your prompt. Write the intent plainly and the AI will match your register.
Give it structure
Ask for verse / pre-chorus / chorus / bridge. A hook you can repeat is what separates a track from a rant.
- Name the emotion, not just the topic
- Give one concrete image per verse
- Repeat a 4-8 word hook
Edit instead of rerolling
Highlight the lines you hate and replace them. Editing one line is cheaper and faster than regenerating a whole song.
